- The student acquires life skills: Camps provide opportunities for young people to develop independence and confidence through taking on new challenges.
- Improve social skills: Making friends is a skill which develops as a child engages more with other young people. An immersive experience such as kids tennis camps provide space to engage face to face away from technology for a time and forces kids to turn to one another for interaction rather than computers or smart phones.
- Passion: Passion can be ignited when players become focused on learning, improving new and existing skills or just engaging with others who share passion for tennis.
- Exponential growth: Camps are designed to teach you all of the fundamentals in a short period of time. Students learn how to serve, volley, and hit. They also learn how to do a backhand pass, to play doubles and singles, as well as the rules of the game and how to keep score.
- Lots of fun: If you enjoy playing tennis or have always wanted to play, then you will get to do that a lot when you are at camp.
- Create connections: In camp, you will meet fellow players, their parents, coaches and instructors. These connections may come in handy in future – making it easier to navigate the business world or job market.
- Gaining mentors: In camp you are able to interact with people who have played at higher levels than you. As a result you can gain mentors who can guide you through some of the concerns you may have. For example, they may be able to give you tips on how to handle a school or work load while playing tennis.
8. Gaining more confidence: Because camps focus on improving your skills, your weaknesses will be worked on and you will improve. As a result, you’ll gain more confidence when situations that try to exploit your past weak points arise.
